I woke up this past Sunday morning feeling warm and cozy in my bed and not wanting to leave the comfort of warm sheets, but then I heard a blood curdling scream from the living room. I flew out of bed and into the next room to find my 4 year old holding her tummy with both hands and hollering that it hurts. Awesome way to start the day (that's sarcasm in case you didn't pick up on it). The stomach bug had struck. Poor little lady had lots of cramping, some nausea and just a bit vomiting. As soon as the symptoms struck I began to use my upset tummy rub that I make using doTERRA's DigestZen blend and Hand and Body Lotion. I always have some of this rub on hand. I keep a salve jar of the mix in my car, the camper, the boat, 3 of our 4 bathrooms and my desk drawer. I HATE having an upset tummy so I have these everywhere! It is so easy to make and works so so so well. I simply mix some hand and body lotion and a few drops (3-4) of DigestZen blend in a small salve jar. Shake and rub onto tummy as needed for nausea, vomiting and all problems tummy related.
As I said before this is a super simple rub to make and helps so much when you or your family are feeling nauseated. I highly suggest that everyone make at least one small container and keep it on hand. I know I grab it as soon as any tummy trouble starts and wouldn't want to be without it!
